Season 15 gives veteran players a reason to inspect familiar names instead of instantly salvaging them. The returning Uniques matter because Diablo 4 is connecting them to Mythic upgrades, Charms, and earlier build milestones, making Diablo 4 gear more important to long-term planning than its item color suggests. The current roster includes nine legacy Uniques, although some details remain subject to change before launch.

Why These Returning Uniques Matter

Leoric's Crown, Nemesis Bracers, Stone of Jordan, and Squirt's Blouse are usable across all classes, while Arioc's Needle, Henri's Perquisition, In-Geom, The Furnace, and Messerschmidt's Reaver serve more limited class groups. That spread gives both broad build experimentation and targeted reasons to revisit older farming routes.

These are adaptations rather than exact restorations. Leoric's Crown occupies the helm slot but is treated as Jewelry, enhancing the gem placed inside it. Squirt's Blouse also changes its equipment identity by appearing as chest armor, which creates a much more serious defensive tradeoff than a necklace slot would. Players should judge each item by its current slot pressure, not by memories of its earlier version.

How Season 15 Changes Build Planning

Every Iconic Mythic is expected to receive a regular Unique version, allowing its defining effect to enter a character's progression earlier. That makes build development less dependent on one extremely rare find. A player can establish a functional combat loop first, then improve the same concept rather than abandoning an entire setup when the endgame arrives.

The direct Mythic process adds another important decision. A selected Unique can retain its affixes, Tempering choices, and Masterworking progress when upgraded through the Horadric Cube. Because only one item made through this route can be equipped, the best target is usually the piece that defines resource flow, damage timing, or survivability rather than the item with the biggest headline number.

Find a regular Unique that supports your intended skill rotation.
Improve only strong rolls before spending rare crafting materials.
Reserve the direct Mythic upgrade for the build's structural centerpiece.
Continue farming natural Mythics for the remaining equipment slots.

Who Should Use the Legacy Items?

Universal items are strongest for players who enjoy changing classes or testing seasonal setups. Stone of Jordan can be valuable when a build needs tighter resource control, while Nemesis Bracers may appeal to players who plan efficient combat loops around elite encounters. Their usefulness depends on the complete build, since replacing a defensive or skill-focused slot can lower practical performance.

Multi-class weapons deserve more careful evaluation. In-Geom reaches six classes and could support several fast-paced setups, while The Furnace and Messerschmidt's Reaver compete for valuable two-handed weapon space. A weapon that looks powerful in a damage test may still be inefficient if it disrupts a class's preferred attack rhythm or removes an important utility effect.

1) Save rare materials until your core Unique has strong affix rolls.

2) Farm targeted activities that match your class and desired equipment slot.

3) Test resource stability before committing to a high-cost Mythic upgrade.

Charms, Farming, and Common Mistakes

Several returning Uniques can also become Unique Charms, including In-Geom, Nemesis Bracers, Squirt's Blouse, Stone of Jordan, and The Furnace. This creates a second use for an item that does not fit the current equipment screen. Still, conversion should not be automatic: the equipped version may provide a complete interaction, while the Charm may offer only a narrower benefit.

The biggest mistake is spending materials on a temporary item simply because its name is recognizable. Check the final roll, compare the slot sacrifice, and consider whether the item supports your intended endgame route. Season 15 rewards players who preserve flexibility early and make one deliberate investment later, especially when preparing for cheap Diablo IV Items that fill gaps without replacing a carefully planned build.
